By accessing or using Dozia ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and subscribers.
Dozia is an AI-powered children's bedtime story platform that generates serialized stories. Stories are created dynamically by artificial intelligence and may vary between sessions. We do not guarantee identical output across sessions.
All payments are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record. Paddle is the seller of record for all purchases and is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable taxes. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's terms available at paddle.com/legal.
New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial on their first subscription. Only one free trial per person or household. We reserve the right to revoke trial access if abuse is detected.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing support@dozia.app or through Paddle's customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to Pro features until the period ends.

Dozia is designed for use by parents with their children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Child profiles require only a first name and age range — no email or identifying information. Parents are responsible for supervising their children's use of the Service.
Stories are generated by artificial intelligence. While we apply safety guidelines, we cannot guarantee all content will be perfectly suitable for every child. If you encounter any content of concern, please contact us at support@dozia.app immediately.
The Dozia brand, interface, and underlying technology are owned by Dozia. AI-generated stories produced during your session are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. Series concepts, character frameworks, and story arc templates remain the property of Dozia.
The Service is provided "as is." We make no warranties regarding uptime, story quality, or suitability for a particular purpose. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding any claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales (Paddle's jurisdiction as merchant of record). Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved via email at support@dozia.app.
We may update these terms at any time. We will notify subscribers by email at least 14 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

Dozia operates the bedtime story service at dozia.app. For privacy questions, contact support@dozia.app.
Account data: Your email address, used for login, billing receipts, and support.
Child profiles: First name and age range only. We do not collect birthdates, photos, or any identifying information about children.
Usage data: Which series you have started, episode completion status, and age range selection. Stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and optionally synced to our servers for cross-device access.
Payment data: We do not store any payment card information. All billing is handled entirely by Paddle. We receive only a subscription status confirmation from Paddle.
AI prompts: Story generation prompts include the child's name (if provided), age range, and episode context. These are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for story generation and are subject to Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy. We do not use your story data for training AI models.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share data with third parties except as described in this policy.
Paddle (paddle.com) — processes all payments and manages subscriptions. Paddle is the merchant of record and has its own privacy policy.
Anthropic (anthropic.com) — provides the Claude AI that generates stories. Story prompts are processed by Anthropic's API.
We take children's privacy seriously. Child profiles contain only a first name and age range. This data is stored locally in the parent's browser. We do not create accounts for children, we do not collect children's email addresses, and we do not share children's data with any third party.
Dozia uses browser localStorage to save your reading progress and profiles on your device. This requires no cookies and no tracking. If you clear your browser data, your local progress will be reset.
We retain your account email for as long as your subscription is active plus 90 days. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by emailing support@dozia.app.
Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, email support@dozia.app. We will respond within 30 days.
We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. Payment data is handled entirely by Paddle and never touches our servers. We apply industry-standard security practices to protect account data.
We will notify you by email of significant changes to this privacy policy with at least 14 days notice.

We want every family to love Dozia. If you're not satisfied for any reason, we offer a straightforward refund policy — no hassle, no interrogation.
If you are charged for a subscription (after your free trial ends) and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 30 days of the charge date. Email support@dozia.app with your account email and we will process a full refund.
If you cancel during your 14-day free trial, you will not be charged. No refund is necessary as no payment was taken.
All refunds are processed by Paddle, our payment processor. Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
For annual subscribers requesting a refund after 30 days, we will assess on a case-by-case basis. We may offer a pro-rated refund for unused months at our discretion. Contact support@dozia.app to discuss.
We reserve the right to decline refunds in cases of suspected fraud, abuse of the trial system, or violations of our Terms of Service.
